Mural Magic!

We are proud to present the latest mural to light up Royal Leamington Spa! And please watch this space for further detail on how we plan to illuminate the mural during the Lights of Leamington Spotlight festival!

This artwork was commissioned by BID Leamington with the support of the Royal Priors Shopping Centre.

The mural was created by Tim Robottom from BRINK Contemporary Arts with @mig29_murals.

The design pays homage to a much-loved shopping centre clock used to adorn the inside of the Royal Priors Shopping Centre, alongside an invitation to love and support our beautiful town centre.

Tim Robottom, Leamington Mural Festival Curator, said: “When the Royal Priors first opened, I used to take my daughter to watch the mechanical peacock move. On the hour, the clock would chime and the tail would fan out, it was really beautiful. When I was working on the design concept for this mural with Leamington BID, the clock was always on my mind.”
